Educational Programs

Kohler Academy’s core curricula are supported by award-winning educational materials from Pivot Point International, Bumble and bumble and/or Dermalogica. All courses include review exercises and sample tests to prepare students for required State Board exams.

Kohler Academy also provides the following resources:

  • Comprehensive, four-color student coursebooks with more than 200 practical, hands-on exercises and more than 100 art and design theory chapters.
  • The entire Scientific Approach series on DVD

Convenient E-Learning (Coming summer of 2008)

Kohler Academy is proud to incorporate E-Learning opportunities into our Cosmetology, Skin Therapy, and Educator Training Programs. This hands-on, motivating component gives students more flexibility, as well as the chance to learn at their own pace and examine certain topics in more detail. Additionally, as more and more salons and spas become computerized, Kohler Academy’s E-learning will help graduating students perform a range of computer, reception, and management tasks throughout their careers.

Student Involvement

All students are invited and encouraged to participate in any of the several student-led teams, councils and committees at Kohler Academy. Groups such as:
