What brought you to Kohler Academy?

I attended cosmetology school at Kohler Academy and I fell in love with it. Not just the hair side of it but also the people that worked there and the atmosphere and the compassion that the company had for people. I felt a sense of belonging. After I worked in the salon for a few years I found my way back to my "home" and it's been rewarding and wonderful ever since!

Who or what inspires you?

Music and the future inspires me. I say you make your future as bright as you want it to be. Whether you want a candle light or a chandelier full of bright lights, it's whatever you make it.

What led you to the beauty industry?

Since I was a little girl I always loved playing with hair and make up because I loved how i can transform a look, like an art form. As I grew up I got very into fashion and I started noticing how much hair can make a look extraordinary and I fell in love with it. When I graduated High School I went directly into cosmetology school and loved it!

What would you consider your biggest strength?

Compassion and wanting to do the very best I can at my job
