Project F.A.M.E.

Project F.A.M.E. looks at how the Cosmetology and Skin Care industries play a part in the real world. The name stands for Fashion, Art, Music and Editorial, and Project F.A.M.E. encourages students to work on turning their creative ideas into reality. From replicating magazine covers to recreating some of the most timeless beauty styles, Project F.A.M.E. helps the student expand their creativity to it’s full potential.

D.R.E.A.M. Team

Public Relations is the name of the game and Designing, Representing, Events, Ambassadors, and Marketing are the core elements. With these values in mind students learn and apply skills in planning, creating, public speaking and executing events, along with representing Kohler Academy to the public. This team helps you grow both professionally and creatively.

Bumble & bumble Product Knowledge Team

For the person who wants to know everything and anything Bumble, the Bb PK Team is an comprehensive and in-depth way of becoming a Bb product knowledge expert. Not only do you master the Bumble and bumble blowout but you will also gain extensive product knowledge about every product in the Bumble and bumble line. This team also touches on demonstration skills and the ability to recreate classic and progressive Bumble and bumble looks.

Creative Nail Product Knowledge Team

CND PK Team explores the nail artwork techniques and products that define Creative Nail Design. Combining technical knowledge with products that allow almost unlimited creativity, this team explores the next generation of nail artistry. Using the latest techniques and products, students turn simple nails into unique creations while gaining hands-on experience in the world of nail art.

Dermalogica Product Knowledge Team

This team gives new meaning for the saying “beauty is only skin deep”. This PK team helps define the meaning of “skin care” and what it takes to keep your complexion at its best while studying and analyzing the entire Dermalogica line. Learn how to create a product regimen, how different ingredients work with one another, and how to specialize a retail experience for your guest.

Color Team

Learning the color wheel is not just for art students. In this team you will focus on color and light theory and how they apply to the practical application of hair color. You will study color and how it relates to toners, semi-permanents, permanents and lighteners. With a broad knowledge of color you will be able to excel in using any color product line you work with.

Sculpting Team

This isn’t your average hair cut. As a part of Sculpting Team you will master the four basic sculpting forms and then teach them to others. Sculpting Team members work on perfecting each form, personalizing them and using them to create individual and unique styles, effectively creating works of art.
